Judy trained as a professional dancer at The Laban Centre London and qualified as dance teacher from the University of Surrey
She has been dancing for over 20 years. She is the author of the teachers' accredited course and many others for the same awarding body

Learn basic salsa dance steps at beginner level
If you just want to learn some basic salsa steps so that you can dance salsa in a club or party, this course is ideal.

Level Two

The Basement runs Rueda classes for beginners on Saturdays. La rueda is a dance where couples dance interchangeably in a circle. Learn a variety of basic rueda patterns. Please click on the timetable for the next start dates.
Group dance lessons
As a general principal participants in group salsa lessons are encouraged to work with all other members in the class.
Our salsa dance classes last one hour long for six weeks and will give you a good foundation to dance salsa.
